LEGAL
You must be of legal age in your country of purchase (18 years or older in New Zealand) to buy alcoholic goods from this online store. If you do not meet these requirements, it is illegal for you to place an order with us.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY ORDER?
If for any reason you change your order, please email us as soon as you receive your confirmation email. Our system is designed to fill orders and get them on their way to you as quickly as possible. Once an order has been processed for the courier we are unable to make any changes.
DELIVERY
Shipping rates will appear at checkout. We only deliver in New Zealand and cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
If your order is received before 9am Mon-Fri it will be dispatched the same day. If ordered after 9am noon Mon-Fri or over the weekend, it will be dispatched on the next business day.
Our courier partner will typically deliver within 1-3 days, however we have no control over specific delivery times once it has left our premises.
All customer orders are carefully wrapped to ensure that products arrive safely and undamaged. Alcohol cannot be left unattended or with a person under the legal drinking age.
At present we only ship to New Zealand. We cannot deliver to The Chatham Islands.
REFUNDS & RETURNS
If your order arrives in poor condition or damaged in any way please contact us immediately and we will put it right.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
We love our products, but note that the taste of spirits and liqueurs is subjective and as such we can not offer returns for any products that do not meet your expectations in terms of taste or aroma.
ORDERING & PAYMENT
All prices are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZ$).
Your credit card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
The Shopify payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
PRODUCTS / MERCHANDISE
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash, nor will change be given should item/s purchased be lesser than the Gift Voucher value.
PRIVACY
When you purchase something from our online store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
We respect your privacy, your personal information will not be disclosed or sold to any other party.
EXPERIENCES
The Bluff Distillery Limited. accepts bookings of all advertised experiences subject to the following conditions:
CONTRACT
This contract is between The Bluff Distillery Limited. and any person booked on or intending to book an experience (the customer) supplied by The Bluff Distillery Limited as an operator.
PRICE:
Prices quoted are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. The price is based on pricing at time of publishing and The Bluff Distillery Limited reserves the right to modify these prices in any way considered necessary or desirable. The Bluff Distillery Limited reserves the right to alter published prices at any time.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the full experience price and become definite from that date. The Bluff Distillery Limited or their agents reserve their right to decline any booking at their discretion.
Distillery tour size is limited to 10 participants, therefore bookings are recommended. For group bookings of 10 or more, please contact us for availability.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We are a small operator, so cancellations at short notice or no shows impact us greatly. We recommend customers carry travel insurance to meet any unforeseen matters which may prevent them participating in the activity.
If any customer fails to join a tour for whatever reason or are late arriving for their tour and we can not accommodate them joining the rest of the tour, no refund will be given.
REFUNDS
All bookings are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. The booking created is valid only for the named customers. If you fail to arrive for your scheduled booking time, your booking will be non-refundable. Please check your activity details carefully for your report time.
If you need to change the date of your tour, we will reschedule to another date within 6 months of the original tour date if you have contacted us by email a minimum of 7 days prior to the original tour date.
INSURANCE
The Bluff Distillery Limited recommends that customers travelling to join a tour/ experience take out the relevant travel insurance. All insurance requirements are your own responsibility, The Bluff Distillery Limited cannot be held liable for any failure to take out the relevant insurance.
CHANGES TO TOURS
The Bluff Distillery Limited will endeavour to ensure that all tours are operated as advertised. However, it may be that reasonable changes in the itinerary may need to be made where it is deemed necessary or advisable by The Bluff Distillery Limited.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
We endeavour to provide fun, safe activities as part of our experiences. Some of our walks and tours require a certain standard of fitness, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that they are able to meet the requirements of any experience purchased. Please check these details carefully for your preferred activity to ensure that you feel comfortable taking part and that you consider any medical condition that might exclude you from this activity. We are not medical professionals and cannot make any judgement based on your ability/ state of health. Participation in activities will always be dependent on the nature of any condition and physical requirements of the experience booked. Participation of any individual can be discretionary at the decision of the tour guide/ The Bluff Distillery Limited and their representatives/ contacted suppliers and will be based upon safety requirements for the customer and other participants in the group.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Bluff Distillery Limited, their agents, contractors and guides do not accept responsibility or liability for loss, damage to or theft of any personal belongings of any customer (owners’ risk) or for any expenses, including medical and transport expenses arising from personal accident, illness or hospitalization.
The Bluff Distillery Limited and their representatives/ tour guides reserve the right to make any alterations to the itinerary in the interests of safety, comfort or any unforeseen circumstances such as weather, illness or misadventure. Every reasonable endeavour will be made to keep to published/ notified schedules, but no guarantee is implied or given.
The Bluff Distillery Limited will not be held liable for any change, delay or the missing of connecting services.
The Bluff Distillery Limited reserves the right to exclude any person from a tour at any time, if in the opinion of the guide or operator, that person may be likely to risk the health safety or comfort (including anti-social behaviour) of themselves, other customers, or the environment. In such circumstances The Bluff Distillery Limited will not be obliged to offer a refund or transfer of any tour experience.
These terms and conditions apply to each participant included in a group booking. Where a group booking is made on behalf of a group of two or more people then each participant in the group must be made aware of and accept/ shall be deemed to have accepted all of these conditions.
